There are 2 supermarkets in Cancela to choose from, Pingo Doce and Continente.
Directions from Palheiro Village - Turn left onto the ER204 Estrada do Aeroporto, when you reach the junction turn left and drive on down to the roundabout. Turn right down the hill (direction Garajau) into Cancela. On your left you will find Pingo Doce at Cancela Park shopping centre and if you take a right there you will find Continente
You can also carry on the main road down to Garajau. There you will find a selection of shops and restaurants including an excellent bakery, Flor do Garajau, fruit and vegetable shop, Banamadeira, a chemist, Farmácia do Cristo Rei, a small supermarket, Sá, and various restaurants all on the left side of the road.
