Due to open in the beginning of 2009, Palheiro Spa is located in a purpose-built building next to Hotel Casa Velha do Palheiro; a small boutique property steeped in 200 years of history set in a world famous botanical garden.  Madeira born and bred Architect Bruno Martins, integrated rustic elements with the use of natural stone to combine with the classic style of the 200 year old Casa Velha hotel.  The treatment rooms will have their own private gardens which will draw upon elements from the Palheiro Gardens which form part of the surroundings.

The spa will comprise of; a hydro pool, treatment rooms, gym, sauna and steam-room as well as a juice bar and relaxation area.  Offering results-driven skincare in a luxury spa package, with a range of therapeutic professional massage, Palheiro Spa aims to set a new standard.  It will be the perfect complement to the luxury Palheiro lifestyle for hotel guests and Village residents.  In keeping with this lifestyle and ethos, Palheiro Spa has chosen the world-renowned Pevonia Botanica as its exclusive product and treatment line.
