The Awards scheme is now in its fifth year, and includes country-specific categories for 18 of the most popular destinations currently attracting interest from the British market, as well as a further 10 specialist categories open to developments located anywhere in the world.
The winners of the highly coveted Homes Overseas Awards were announced
at a glittering Gala dinner and awards ceremony at The Grosvenor House
Hotel, Park Lane, Mayfair, London W1. on Friday 28 November. The
evening event was attended by property agents and developers from all
around the world and gave recognition to the very best residential
property projects overseas.
Awards
judge, Marc Da-Silva, editor of www.homesoverseas.co.uk, says: “Best
Development Portugal was one of the most fiercely contested categories
this year with a whole host of entries from across Portugal.”
“Gold was awarded to Palheiro Village, as it is a truly magnificent development. I believe Palheiro has taken residential architecture on the island to a new level, and now stands to rival some of the best golf property developments in the more established golfing hotspot of the Algarve, at a fraction of the price.”
BEST FRACTIONAL OWNERSHIP SCHEME
This award recognises the growing popularity of fractional ownership
schemes in providing the opportunity to own overseas property to a
wider audience. The location and quality of the homes and the standard
of the amenities provided by the development/s are crucial factors, as
is the longer-term investment potential offered by the development/s.
Silver was awarded to Palheiro Village, Palheiro Estate.
